The National Testing Agency released the results of NEET-UG 2026 on Thursday. Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana emerged as joint toppers with 715 marks out of 720. 138 candidates scored above 690 marks out of 720. A total of close to 20 lakh candidates appeared for NEET (UG) 2026 at 5,440 centres in 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. 11.21 lakh candidates qualified the medical entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and allied programmes, according to NTA data. Female candidates made up 58% of the total qualifiers. The exam was re-conducted on June 21 after reports of a question paper leak in the initial test. Examination conducted in 13 languages.
