A low pressure area has formed over the North-West Bay of Bengal. According to the weather department, the low pressure system has developed due to the influence of an active cyclonic circulation. The low pressure area is currently located off the West Bengal – Odisha coast. IMD has said that due to this system, several parts of Odisha and West Bengal are likely to experience rainfall in the coming days.
