Bihar Cabinet expands; 32 Ministers Sworn In
The Bihar cabinet was expanded on Thursday in a grand ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan, Patna. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh were present at the swearing-in ceremony.
 
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government in Bihar expanded its cabinet on Thursday, with 32 ministers taking the oath of office at a ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
 
Shrawon Kumar, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, former CM Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar, and Leshi Singh take oath as ministers in the Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary-led cabinet in Bihar.
 
Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers. The event saw a huge turnout of NDA leaders, MLAs, and party workers from across the state.
 
BJP secured 15 ministerial berths, while the JD(U), received 13 positions. Two Ministers were inducted from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), with one berth each allocated to the Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha, led by Upendra Kushwaha.
 
Besides PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Rajnath Singh, several Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states, and top BJP and JD(U) leaders attended the ceremony.
