An Air India flight from Phuket to Delhi encountered severe turbulence on Tuesday, leaving several passengers injured. The Airbus A320 aircraft, was midway through its journey when the aircraft ran into unexpected rough air. The sudden turbulence caused panic onboard as passengers and cabin crew were jolted. Injured passengers and cabin crew member were shifted to Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj. A dedicated Air India coordination team is present at the hospital and is working closely with the clinical and administrative teams to facilitate patient care, documentation, logistics, and communication with the passengers’ families. The medical teams are currently evaluating each patient.
