The two leaders held an in-depth discussion on Odisha’s long-term economic growth plan. Key focus areas included building a strong system for estimating district-level GDP and outlining the core goals of the ‘Viksit Odisha 2036’ and ‘Viksit Odisha 2047’ Vision Documents. They also deliberated on creating policy frameworks for Special Marine Zones and Special Agriculture Zones to tap the full potential of Odisha’s coastal belt and farming sector. The CM and Prof. Raju agreed that these initiatives will drive balanced regional growth, create new livelihood opportunities, and speed up Odisha’s path toward inclusive, sustainable prosperity.
