Lok Sabha Deadlock Ends; All Parties Agree to Debate Paper Leak Bill Tomorrow
The prolonged deadlock in the Lok Sabha has finally ended with all parties reaching a consensus to take up the ‘Paper Leak Bill’ debate tomorrow.

During the Lok Sabha proceedings on Monday, earlier today, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had urged all parties to engage in a broad and meaningful debate, rather than sloganeering.

The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, was introduced by Minister of State for PMO Jitendra Singh amidst protests and sloganeering by the Opposition on Monday.
