In view of the preparations for Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannatha’s sacred Bahuda Jatra and the large number of rituals to be performed, public entry through the Singhadwara of Shri Gundicha Temple will remain closed from 6:00 PM today. Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple, Aravind Padhi informed that this day will be observed as the evening darshan day. During this period, the cleansing ritual of Shri Gundicha Temple will be conducted along with several other important pre-Bahuda Jatra rituals of the Deities. Devotees are requested to cooperate with the temple administration for the smooth conduct of the rituals.
