Odisha BJP State President Manmohan Samal on Tuesday reacted to the death case of Chauliaganj Police Station Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) Beauty Mohanty. Speaking to the media, Samal said, why this incident occurred will be known only after investigation. On the issue of political pressure on police in the last two years, he said, no political pressure has been created on police in the last 2 years. Commenting on the resignation of Bhubaneswar DCP, the BJP President added, officers resign at various times. There could be personal reasons behind it. The remarks come amid growing public and political debate over the IIC Death Case and resignation of Bhubaneswar DCP Jagmohan Meena.
