The Ministry of Education on Monday clarified that the fire earlier broke out today at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), and not at the Ministry of Education office. In an official statement, the Ministry said the incident occurred on the SPA premises. The ministry said it operates from Kartavya Bhavan-2 on Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, while the fire incident occurred at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) campus in the ITO area. No casualties have been reported so far. Fire services were rushed to the spot and the blaze has been brought under control. The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
