In a major step towards strengthening the fight against cyber crime, the CID-Crime Branch of Odisha Police and the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Bhubaneswar signed a 5-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday. The agreement aims to enhance capabilities in tackling cyber crime effectively, build expertise in digital forensics, and make the scientific investigation system more robust. On the occasion, Odisha DGP Yogesh Bahadur Khurania inaugurated a training programme titled “Cyber Crime Investigation and Digital Forensics.” The MoU is expected to play a key role in ensuring faster, scientific, and technology-driven investigation of cyber offences across Odisha.
