The United States has launched another attack on Iran, targeting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) near the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump confirmed the American military action in a post on Truth Social. Trump warned that if Iran does not change its course, the United States could further intensify its attacks. Iranian media reported that explosions were heard in Bandar Abbas, Hormuz, Asaluyeh, Jiroft, Qeshm Island, Konarak, Chabahar, Jask, Sirik and Lavan. Following the US strikes of cruise missiles, Iran launched retaliatory attacks against American military bases in Jordan and Bahrain. Ballistic missiles were fired at an American airbase in Jordan. Iranian forces also reportedly carried out drone strikes targeting a US airbase in Bahrain.
