Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit, which is scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam from tomorrow. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh received President Putin at the airport upon his arrival. During his visit, President Putin is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today and participate in a series of bilateral meetings. The 18th BRICS Summit will bring together leaders of 11 member countries along with representatives from 10 partner countries. Chinese President Xi Jinping is also scheduled to arrive in New Delhi today to attend the summit.
