Senior IPS officer Dayal Gangwar has been suspended. The order was issued by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi following controversy over the Balianta Soumya death case. Soumya’s parents had directly alleged that their son was subjected to mental harassment. The matter escalated after Soumya’s mother accused Gangwar of involvement in the case. Taking note of the serious allegations, the State Government has now taken this major step.
