National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was conferred with the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026 for his significant contribution to India’s national security. The award was presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at a ceremony held in Pune on August 1, marking the death anniversary of freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, Union MoS Murlidhar Mohol were among the dignitaries present at the event. Since assuming office as the National Security Advisor in 2014, Ajit Doval has fundamentally transformed India’s national security doctrine.
