IndiGo Flight Hits Guidance Pole at Srinagar Airport All Passengers Crew Safe
An IndiGo flight from Navi Mumbai to Srinagar was involved in a minor incident at Srinagar Airport on Friday morning after it came into contact with a pole while being parked. The incident involved IndiGo flight 6E 225.
 
According to airport officials, the aircraft got stuck on the runway/taxiway area shortly after landing. All passengers and crew members were safely deboarded shortly after the incident and no injuries were reported, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) said in a statement.
 
Airport officials confirmed that an inquiry has been ordered to determine exactly what led to the aircraft making contact with the pole and getting stuck.
 
Airport operations remained normal, with flight arrivals and departures continuing as scheduled.
