Trouble mounts as CID Team reaches Mamata Banerjee’s Kolkata Residence
Trouble seems to be mounting for West Bengal’s former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. A CID team reached her Kalighat residence to probe a corruption case.

The complaint involves forgery and irregularities in the signatures of some TMC MLAs. The CID had issued a notice to Abhishek Banerjee for the third time on Tuesday, summoning him for questioning at the CID headquarters in South Kolkata by 5 PM on 9th June.

Reports also suggest that the CID team reached the Kalighat residence with a search warrant as part of the ongoing probe.
