Four Indian nationals were killed after a Russian missile attack on a commercial vessel near Ukraine. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the cargo ship MV Golden Leo had departed from Odesa port in Ukraine when it was targeted. Ukrainian officials said Russia fired 3 cruise missiles at the commercial ship. The attack caused heavy damage and led to the death of four Indian crew members onboard. The Indian Government has strongly condemned the missile strike. The MEA said it is in touch with authorities in both Ukraine and Russia and is working to ensure the safety of other Indian nationals in the region.
