India beat New Zealand 2-0 to win FIH Women’s Nations Cup 2025-26
The Indian women’s hockey team clinched the FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup 2025-26 title with a dominant 2-0 victory over hosts New Zealand in the final at Auckland on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
 
Goals from Navneet Kaur and Sunelita Toppo in the opening quarter laid the foundation for India’s victory.
 
The team finished the tournament unbeaten, topping Pool A with wins over USA 3-2, Japan 2-1, and Uruguay 3-2, before thrashing Chile 6-0 in the semi-final.
 
India stayed unbeaten, with strong defense led by Savita. Deepika was joint top scorer, and Lalremsiami won Player of the Match.
 
This is India’s second Nations Cup title after winning the inaugural edition in 2022.
