Goals from Navneet Kaur and Sunelita Toppo in the opening quarter laid the foundation for India’s victory. The team finished the tournament unbeaten, topping Pool A with wins over USA 3-2, Japan 2-1, and Uruguay 3-2, before thrashing Chile 6-0 in the semi-final. India stayed unbeaten, with strong defense led by Savita. Deepika was joint top scorer, and Lalremsiami won Player of the Match.
