Odisha Govt hikes Reservation Quota in Professional Courses
Odisha Government has increased reservation quotas for students from Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes in professional educational institutions across the State.

Under the revised policy, reservation for ST students has been raised from 12% to 22.5%, while the quota for SC students has gone up from 8% to 16.25%.

Decision taken to implement 11.25% reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBCs).

The revised reservation policy will be implemented across all universities and affiliated educational institutions.

It will apply to admissions in ITI, Polytechnic, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Management courses.
