Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has announced a major benefit for the State’s legislators, including new cars and a monthly allowance of ₹75,000. Under the new arrangement, MLAs will receive ₹75,000 per month to cover expenses related to the vehicle, including the driver’s salary and other costs associated with its use. The initiative is aimed at helping legislators travel across their respective constituencies and interact with people to understand and address their problems more effectively.
