RBI refutes Gold Sale Claims, confirms 880.52 Tonnes in Reserve
The Reserve Bank of India has denied reports claiming it had sold gold, terming them baseless. Authorities clarified that the RBI regularly publishes gold reserve data through its monthly bulletins to maintain transparency.
 
Details regarding the central bank’s gold holdings are also available on the official RBI website. As per the latest figures, the RBI holds a physical stock of 880.52 tonnes of gold.
 
The central bank has advised the public to rely only on official data released by the RBI and avoid misinformation circulating from unverified sources.
