Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mayurbhanj, Odisha on June 20. PM Modi announced his visit on social media, calling it a “memorable” occasion as President Droupadi Murmu will also participate in the program. Mayurbhanj is the home district of President Murmu. In his post, PM Modi said he and the President Murmu will travel to Pahadpur village. Following that, both will attend the 2-year completion program of the current Odisha Government. Development projects worth over ₹47,000 crore will be inaugurated or have their foundation stones laid during the event. The visit highlights the Centre’s focus on Odisha’s development and coincides with President Murmu’s home district visit.
