INDI Alliance
A meeting of INDI Alliance leaders took place on Monday in New Delhi. Twenty-five opposition parties participated in the meeting. Following the meeting, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed a press conference, stating that all parties had expressed their views and agreed upon five key issues.
 
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party Supremo Akhilesh Yadav, RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav, TMC Supremo Mamta Banerjee, Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir Umar Abdullah and PDP Supremo Mehbooba Mufti along with other key leaders were present in the meeting.
 
1. The bloc decided to write to the Chief Justice of India regarding concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and alleged vote theft.
 
2. INDIA bloc leaders agreed to demand the resignation of the Union Education Minister over lapses in NEET and CBSE examinations.
 
3. A proposal was passed to call for an all-party meeting to discuss the current economic situation in the country.
 
4. Alliance partners agreed to hold coordination meetings every two months, with the next meeting scheduled in Hyderabad on August 8.
 
5. The opposition will maintain daily coordination in Parliament during the session.
