A day after a deadly fire at a hotel in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, another major fire incident has been reported from Bihar. At least 10 people died after a fire broke out in the ICU of Prasad Hispital in Mazaffarpur, Bihar. Initial reports suggest that a short circuit triggered the fire. Fire services rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control, but 10 patients lost their lives, reportedly due to suffocation and burn injuries. Several others sustained injuries and have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
