Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament Prakash Chik Baraik has resigned from the Rajya Sabha. This is the third resignation from the party in a week. Baraik submitted his resignation to Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman CP Radhakrishnan. With Baraik’s resignation, the party’s strength in the Rajya Sabha will fall to just 10 MPs. Report suggests that as many as 3 more TMC Rajya Sabha MPs likely to resign within the next week.
